Dr. Amanda Kunowski is your Oakville family optometrist and takes a special interest in caring for all visual and eye health needs. Her optometric services include comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and eye emergencies.
Dr. Amanda Kunowski graduated in 2007 from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. In 2011, she completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry, an externship in ocular disease at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas and contact lens training with Johnson and Johnson in Jacksonville, Florida.
She has volunteered in Paraguay, Romania and Mexico, providing eye care for those in need and teamed with Bochner Eye Institute at the 2015 Pan Am Games to assess athletes with emergencies secondary to trauma or medical conditions.
Dr. Amanda Kunowski is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, the Canadian Association of Optometrists, and the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
